Glenview Financial Group previously provided pro bono services and contributed to charitable causes without a specific Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. In 2017, the company decided to develop a strategy to better utilize its expertise in delivering lasting benefits to society.

The Adult Safeguarding Board had recently identified financial abuse as a key concern and had started a program to raise awareness of the issue and provide support to those affected. Glenview Financial Group recognized that this was an area where they could use their expertise and chose the prevention of financial abuse and support for those affected as their key CSR objective.

Glenview Financial Group developed a project that resulted in the creation of an animated video. The video is freely available and has been used by many organizations to raise awareness of the issue and demonstrate how to support those experiencing financial abuse. By developing a CSR strategy and partnering with organizations to address societal issues, Glenview Financial Group is starting to change their profession and have a positive impact on society.
